For Camera Based Driver Assistance Systems

Scope:

  • Development of machine vision algorithms for camera based driver assistance systems 
  • Adaption and optimization of existing machine vision functionalities, e.g. pre-processing, detection and classification, tracking, segmentation, clustering, 3D reconstruction
  • Adaption and optimization of machine vision algorithms with respect to resource-limited embedded systems and close work with the embedded team
  • Test and verification of the algorithms (e.g module tests, static and dynamic tests, code reviews)
  • Documentation of the implemented concepts and algorithms
  • Close collaboration with the requirements, test/validation, tooling and vehicle team
  • Support of test and validation also during test drives

 

Our Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, desirable in Computer Vision or Machine Learning, Physics, Mathematics or comparable qualification, PhD in Computer Vision desirable
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in Machine Vision, Machine Learning, Algorithms, Image Processing, Multi-view geometry, Camera Models, 3D Reconstruction
  • Minimum of 2 years automotive experience in automotive software development (ASPICE) mandatory
  • Strong mathematical background and good analytic skills
  • Efficient and embedding-friendly coding skills
  • Excellent knowledge in C/C++, scripting languages desirable
  • Experience with MISRA or coding guidelines desirable
  • Excellent team player and a supporting team member
  • Excellent organizational skills, reliability, motivation and adaptability to the needs
  • Fluency in English, German desirable
